HP ENVY 6032e All-in-One Printer

I have just purchased a HP 6032 printer.

It works great with the app, but I am desperately looking for the eprint option! With work computers we cannot install the app and need to be able to print to email address ideally.

Has this feature been disabled or am I missing it?

Thanks!

Hi @Vicki1232,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

What is the current OS used on this computer?

To set up ePrint on your HP 6032 printer, follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable Web Services

Connect the printer to the internet:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to your wireless network.

Access the printer's control panel:

  • On the printer's touchscreen, go to the setup or network menu.

Enable Web Services:

  • Look for the “HP ePrint” or “Web Services” option and enable it.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Web Services. Your printer may print out an information sheet with an ePrint email address.

Step 2: Set Up ePrint

Obtain the printer’s email address:

  • After enabling Web Services, your printer will automatically assign an email address. This email address is used to send print jobs to your printer from anywhere.

Access HP ePrint:

  • Go to HP Smart (formerly HP Connected) and create an account if you don't have one.
  • Add your printer using the code provided on the information sheet printed during the Web Services setup.

Step 3: Use ePrint

  1. Send a print job:
    • From your work computer, compose an email and attach the document you want to print.
    • Send the email to your printer’s email address.

Troubleshooting

Ensure Web Services are enabled:

  • Sometimes enabling Web Services can take a few minutes. Make sure your printer is connected to the internet and try again if it doesn’t work immediately.

Check firmware updates:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check this through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.

Network issues:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device when setting up ePrint.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
