Can't get my HP Photosmart Plus b209-a to connect wireless to our new EERO router which supports WPA2 AES-based CCMP encryption. Is there an updated driver for this printer that will allow mw to connect wireless?

Hi @cpo7105,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the connectivity issue.
- Restart Your Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Try restarting both your printer and your EERO router.
- Check Router Settings: Ensure that your EERO router is broadcasting on a compatible frequency band (2.4 GHz) and that it's configured to allow connections from devices using WPA2 AES-based CCMP encryption. You may need to adjust the router settings if they are incompatible with your printer.
- Update Router Firmware: Make sure your EERO router's firmware is up to date. HP often releases firmware updates to improve compatibility and fix bugs.
- Printer Network Settings: Access the network settings on your HP Photosmart Plus b209-a printer and ensure that it is set up to connect to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter the network name (SSID) and password manually.
- Wireless Direct Printing: If all else fails, consider using the wireless direct printing feature on your printer, if it's available. This allows you to print directly to the printer without connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
