Hi, we recently moved and as we've tried to get our printed to connect to our new wifi network we are getting nowhere. We have the HP 2600 desk jet series. No touch screen. HP Smart cannot find the printer. How do I add this printer to my computer?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)?
- Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
- What is the distance between the router and the printer?
- Are you getting any error messages or codes?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for your help.
The Wi-Fi light status on the printer is blinking blue
I do believe the router is dual-band enabled. I am not 100% sure.
The printer is currently plugged in right next to the router so distance is about 2 feet.
No error messages or code. HP Smart is just never able to find the printer.

Thank you for posting back.
Let's prepare your printer for a wireless connection, and restart the printer, computer, and router.
- Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
- Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
- Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
- Turn on the computer.
And, also ensure you connect the printer to the 2.4ghz type.
Keep me posted.

Thank you for posting back.
Let's restore network settings to default settings:
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button X from the printer control panel together for three seconds.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I am having the same issue with the same printer. We have recently changed network providers and now the printer won't connect to the wifi. I have switched off, unplugged and restarted, also have tried to reset the cancel and wifi buttons. The printer still can't be found by the HP Smart app.
