When I tried to reinstall printer after removal I was asked for my WPS pin number and I cannot locate it

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are trying to connect the printer using a WPS pin, I am glad to assist you to connect the printer.

 

To Find WPS Pin On HP Printer Go To.

  1. Turn on the HP Printer
  2. Navigate to the control panel of your HP printer.
  3. Head off to the ‘Settings’ option by pressing the Wireless button.
  4. Tap on the Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
  5. Follow the prompts appearing on the screen carefully.
  6. Tap on the ‘PIN’ option once a PIN appears on the screen.
  7. Once you tap on it, you will come across a WPS PIN.

So, you can see the WPS Pin on your HP printer and make use of it for establishing the connection.
