Hi guys.

 

Until recently, I had an instant ink subscription however decided that it wasn't worth the money so ended up cancelling it. After it was cancelled, my printer stopped working!

 

The printer shows a solid blue wifi symbol however when I try and print anything, it says that the printer is offline.

 

I have tried all the trouble shooting, I have contacted HP and am waiting for a call back however I need to use the printer as I have work to do and am very behind.

 

Thinking that it might be a problem with the actual printer,  I have  now replaced (stupidly with another HP) and low and behold, EXACTLY the same issue... (have completed the set up, tells me it's online, shows me the solid blue light, press print, then tells me it's offline)

 

Can someone please help...? Thank you.

I think I am missing something besides the obvious (we do not know the printer model(s)).

 

True - When you cancel your subscription to Instant Ink, you must remove and replace all the Instant Ink cartridges with a set of purchased HP ink cartridges.

 

Instant Ink cartridges include all ink cartridges made part of the service AND the Instant Ink cartridges sent to you.

 

What?

Instant Ink cartridges, also called subscription cartridges, only work as part of an active Instant Ink subscription.

 

What?!

We don't make the rules -- we can provide information on what might happen and how to contact Instant Ink Support to sort any remaining issues after canceling your service.  Instant Ink Information is provided later in the message.

Offline Condition

Although the printer appears to be switched on, it does not communicate with other devices on your network.

 

Consider >> Restart All

Restart Everything, including the router that controls your network

Next,
