I have seen this problem appear numerous times on the chat boards. I have tried each of the solutions, but none have worked. It is very frustrating.
The problem: I purchased a new wifi router (Netgear AX1800) and cannot connect this printer to the router (I current use an long Ethernet cable so I can print currently.) I have had this printer for some time and have used two different routers over time and connected without any issue.
Am I missing something about how to connect the printer to my router? I am now wondering if there is a technology issue, that is, an old (printer) wifi protocol versus a newer wifi protocol (router)? The printer mentions WPS while my router mentions WPA. Could this be a fatal problem and I will have to just use an Ethernet cable? I hope not; I like this workhorse of a printer.

Check that your new router has enabled a 2,4GHz wireless band, that is the only band the printer can connect to. Most new routers are dual-band both 5GHz and 2,4GHz but factory router settings 2,4GHz is disabled and need to be enabled.
