Printer suddenly lost wifi connection. Reinstalled printer software and followed all the usual troubleshooting steps, including running Print & Scan Doctor. Now the printer says my password is invalid, even though I copied and pasted the password from my router's configuration page. Printer still works using USB port but there are other users I want to connect. I have used this printer with the same router and password for years, even after upgrading to Windows 11

Hi@kahunal,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues with the HP Printer.
I have a few recommendations:
Let’s start by performing a network power drain. Follow the steps below:
Turn off all the devices connected on your network including the PC, Smartphones, printer, modem (if present) and router. Make sure all the devices in the network are turned off / unplugged.
Wait for 2-3 minutes.
Now turn on the modem if present. Wait till all the lights are steady and idle.
Then turn on the router. Again wait for a couple of minutes so that the lights are all steady.
Then turn on the PC and other devices.
I would suggest here is to restore the printer to the network defaults and then try to connect the printer to the network:
From the Home screen on the printer display, touch the Wireless icon.
Use the arrow mark and scroll down to Restore Network Defaults
Follow the onscreen the instructions to restore the printer to network defaults.
Once done, restart the printer.
Now run the wireless setup wizard on the printer to connect to the network:
To connect the product with the Wireless Setup Wizard
1. Write down your network name (SSID) and WEP key or WPA passphrase.
2. Start Wireless Setup Wizard.
a. From the Home screen on the printer display, touch the Wireless icon.
b. On the Wireless summary screen, touch Settings and then touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
3. Connect to wireless network. ▲ Select your network from the list of detected networks.
4. Follow prompts

I already tried all the steps you suggested with no success. My solution should be posted by now. If not, what worked was "updating" the firmware. My firmware was already up to date, but I guessed that perhaps the firmware had developed a bug. My printer works fine since then.
Thanks for your input.

Hi@kahunal,
Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.
From the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings. Get the network name and password. Go to Find the wireless network password or PIN to connect an HP printer for more information.
