Old Hitron internet modem died so provider replaced with identical model
Printer connected wirelessly to old modem but cannot get to connect to new modem
Have done usual unplugging, resetting, and worked through suggestions from HP virtual assistant
Have disabled Windows firewall
I have tried with MAC address filtering on and off
Have tried with printer added as a managed client
Printer can find Network Name SSID, won’t connect to it either by adding password manually or via WPS
HP Network Config Page shows under 802.11 Wireless
MAC address
Status Disabled
Communications Mode Infrastructure
Network Name The correct SSID
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Worked on previous modem so at a loss as to why not now

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's restore the network setting on the Printer:1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup. 2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored. 3. Touch OK.
Once done, connect the Printer to thw Wi-Fi: 1. From the printer control panel display, touch and slide your finger across the screen and then touch Setup. 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Wireless Settings. 4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard. 5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Thank you for possible solution. Unfortunately, this has not worked. Same issue and same Wireless Network Test Results that suggest something to do with MAC address filtering. I have tried with disabled and tried with enabled and no luck.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
Please do check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

SOLVED: The issue turned out to be the AUTH MODE in the wireless tab of router, it was set to wpa2-psk, which I could not change. To be able to change this, I had to disable WPS mode on 2.4 Ghz network. That allowed me to keep, Security Mode as wpa-personal, changed Auth Mode to auto (wpa-psk or wpa2-psk), and Encryption Mode to tkip/aes. HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 connected wirelessly within 20 seconds!
