Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

Good morning. I have a new ASUS laptop that I am trying to connect to my existing HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. I just want to know if they are compatible; and if they are, how can I connect both. If they are not compatible, do I need to buy a USB cable? If I do, which one? Thanks, Jerry
