I recently was having an issue with my printer being offline, so I was able to reset my printer and get it back online. I am now able to print from my phone using the app but when I went to print from my laptop, it was still showing offline. I then had my laptop forget the printer so I could readd it in hopes of it updating. Now when I try to readd it, it asks for the code on my screen which I type in but then it gives me the same error message. I will post a picture of it. I have tried resetting my laptop, printer, and wifi and none of it has worked. The laptop and printer are both connected to me 2.4 internet. I have tried waiting a few hours and even days but I still cannot get it to connect. Please help.

Hi @bearcat2024,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on most HP printers
Use the control panel on your printer to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
Printers with a touchscreen display
Use the touchscreen to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon or Wireless icon
.
Select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
NOTE:
Your control panel might look different than the following example, but the steps are the same.
If a confirmation prompt displays, touch Yes.
Wait 60 seconds until the Wireless light blinks blue.
Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.
Update Firmware
