@Maxfogarty3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wi-Fi Connection Issues for HP Printers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Check Wi-Fi Network

  • Ensure that your wireless network is functioning properly. You can test it by connecting other devices to the Wi-Fi. If they face connectivity issues, you may need to look into your router settings.

Positioning the Printer

  • Make sure the printer is within the range of your wireless router. Walls and other obstructions can affect Wi-Fi signals.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Use the printer’s control panel to locate the wireless setup wizard.
  • Follow the prompts to select your network and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Restart Devices

  • Turn off your printer and router. Wait a few seconds before turning them back on. This can occasionally resolve connectivity issues.

Check Network Settings

  • Ensure your network settings are compatible with the printer. This includes SSID name, encryption type, and router settings.

Update Firmware

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates through the printer’s control panel or HP’s website.

Reset Network Settings on Printer

  • Try resetting the network settings on the printer to default and then set up the Wi-Fi connection again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
