I have an HP Smart Tank 6001 All in One Printer. The power went out, and now I am no longer able to connect it to wifi. I have followed the directions for wifi reset and factory reset, but still nothing. I cannot see my printer in any of the devices that I have used HP Smart on, using the WPS button on my router has not worked, and when trying to connect through wifi direct, no setup wifi network appears in my list of available networks. When I search for solutions online I keep finding the same things that I have already tried.

Hi @MattHaz731,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printers connectivity!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Restart All Devices
- Router: Power off the router. Wait for 15 seconds, then power it back on.
- Printer: Turn off the printer and then turn it back on after a few seconds.
- Computer/Mobile Device: Restart the device you're using to set up the printer.
2. Check Wi-Fi Status
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is operational and other devices can connect to it.
3. Restore Printer Network Settings
- Printers with a control panel: Open Setup, go to Network or Wireless settings menu, and select Restore Network Settings.
4. Using WPS Method
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 3 seconds until the wireless light starts to blink.
- Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. The printer's wireless light should stop blinking and remain solid when the connection completes.
5. Using HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart app if you haven't already.
- Open the HP Smart app and click on Add Printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer wirelessly.
6. HP Auto Wireless Connect
- Download and open HP Easy Start from HP’s website.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your printer to the wireless network by using the HP Auto Wireless Connect feature.
7. Print Network Configuration Page
- Use the printer’s control panel to print a network configuration page.
- Look for the IP address listed on the page. If there isn’t an IP address, your printer is not connected to the network.
8. Manual IP Address Assignment
- Open the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) by entering the printer's IP address into a web browser.
- Manually assign an IP address that matches your network settings under the network tab.
9. Static IP Address Configuration
- If the IP address changes every time the printer restarts, configure a static IP within your router’s settings to ensure the printer retains the same IP.
10. Network Isolation Check
- Verify that your router is not configured to isolate wireless devices from each other or from wired connections. This can prevent the printer from being discovered by other network devices.
I hope this helps.
