Cannot my printer using the Wi-Fi Direct PIN. I get a failed message. Says driver unavailable

Since you saw “Driver Unavailable”, the printer was detected but the driver was not installed, which is why the Wi-Fi Direct PIN fails.

Do this:

• On your PC open:
  Settings → Printers & scanners
• If HP DeskJet 2755e is listed, click Remove to delete it.
• Install the driver by downloading the app:
  HP Smart from the Microsoft Store
• After installing, open HP Smart and tap Add Printer
• On your PC connect to the Wi-Fi Direct network that looks like:
  DIRECT-xx-HP DeskJet 2755e
• Only enter a PIN if the HP Smart app asks for it.
• If PIN is requested, print the info page from the printer by pressing and holding:
  i (Information) + Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds, then use the PIN shown on that paper.
• Important notes:
• Do NOT start setup from the Windows PIN pop-up.
• Always install driver using HP Smart first.
• Wi-Fi Direct works only after the driver is staged.
