Using EWS to try to enable Web Services for my Officejet Pro 8600. But when I try to get to Administrator settings, I get the following error.

This site can’t provide a secure connection

192.168.1.117 uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this is usually related to the server on the website, there are chances that the server of the website you are accessing might be down. To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried to access the same website from different devices or browsers? If you get similar error messages, the problem is very likely to be on the website server-side.

Also, you can try to use ‘HTTP://’ instead of ‘HTTPS://’
