Cannot print PDF from amazon fire

I read the answer to this question but, rally, the question wasn't answered.  I have an HP Envy 4520 that is listed as being able to print from my Amazon Fire tablet 9th generation running Fire OS 7.  It says it should print - and it does - EVERYTHING BUT PDFS!  Why will it not show me the print button under the 3 vertical dots, only delete and email.  I can print emails, web pages, photos, just not PDFs. Thank you.

The Silk Browser, Email, Calendar, Camera, and Docs are a few of the Amazon apps that support printing. Other apps that have enabled printing include Adobe Acrobat Reader, OfficeSuite, and WPS Office, as well as many photo apps.

I have no idea what else to tell you - "should work" won't help, of course.

You could try looking for help at Amazon.

The printer is unaware of what it prints - so, yes, the onus is on you and whatever application / software you are using to make it happen.
