Hi @Orngkrsg,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
I completely understand your concern about how it can feel when your printer just won’t reconnect.
Could you please confirm whether you’re trying to connect it to Wi‑Fi or directly with a USB cable.
Here are a few simple steps you can try right away:
Restart printer and router: Turn off your printer and Wi‑Fi router, wait about 30 seconds, then power them back on.
Check Wi‑Fi light: On the printer, make sure the Wi‑Fi light is blinking or solid blue. If it’s off, press and hold the Wireless button until it starts blinking.
Reconnect via HP Smart app: Open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer, and follow the prompts to add your printer again.
Verify network: Ensure your device and printer are on the same Wi‑Fi network (sometimes phones or laptops switch to mobile hotspots without noticing).
Reset printer network settings: If nothing works, you can reset the printer’s network settings by holding the Wireless and Cancel buttons together until the Wi‑Fi light blinks. Then try reconnecting.
I hope this helps.
