I have been running a new hp pc and printer for the past week with no problems.
Toady, the system keeps asking me to use the private pickup facility which i do not want.
I have opened app on my iphone and tried turning off the print anywhere and private pickup facilities but this does not work.
Any suggestions please?

Hi @dwstephens,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering an issue with HP's "Private Pickup" or "Print Anywhere" feature, which is typically part of HP's Instant Ink or cloud-based printing service. Here's what you can do to resolve it:
1. Turn Off Private Pickup from the HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your new PC.
- Navigate to the Printers tab and select your HP ENVY 6032e.
- Look for the Instant Ink or Print Anywhere settings.
- If the Private Pickup or Print Anywhere feature is enabled, try disabling it from here.
2. Access Printer Settings via Web Interface:
- Open a web browser on your PC.
- Type the printer's IP address in the address bar (you can find this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel).
- In the web interface, navigate to the Network or Web Services section.
- Look for an option related to Private Pickup or Print Anywhere, and disable it.
3. Disable Print Anywhere from HP Connected:How to use the Print Anywhere feature in the HP Smart App.
- Go to HP HP printers - Print Anywhere with the HP Smart app on a web browser.
- Sign in with the same HP account you use with your printer.
- Look for the Print Anywhere settings and try to turn off the feature.
4. Check for App Updates:
- Ensure your HP Smart app is up to date on your PC and iPhone. Sometimes, updating the app can resolve unexpected behavior like this.
5. Factory Reset Printer (If Necessary):
If the above steps don’t work, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer, which should clear any unwanted settings, including Print Anywhere.
- To do this, go to Settings on the printer's control panel, select Printer Maintenance, and choose Restore Network Settings or Restore Factory Defaults.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
