Hi @kb1285
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Not to worry, I'll do my best to reconnect the printer to your wireless network.
If your HP printer has lost its Wi-Fi connection after changing your router, internet service provider, or network settings, you’ll need to reconnect it to the network. Here’s how:
For Printers with a Touchscreen
Prepare the Printer
- Place the printer near the router.
- Ensure paper is loaded and the printer is powered on.
Restore Network Settings
- Open the Wireless or Setup menu.
- Select Network Setup or Settings, then choose Restore Network Settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless Settings menu.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Choose your network and enter the password.
Alternative Connection Methods
- If the Wireless Setup Wizard isn’t available, try Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
- Select Push Button and follow the on-screen instructions.
Print a Wireless Network Test Report
- Open the Wireless, Network Settings, or Setup menu.
- Print the Wireless Network Test Report to check for connection issues.
For Printers Without a Touchscreen
Use HP Smart App
- Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer.
- Use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 5 seconds.
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Wait for the connection to establish.
Check Printer Homepage
- Access the printer’s embedded web server (EWS) via its IP address.
- Navigate to Network Settings and reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Following these steps should help restore your printer’s Wi-Fi connection. Let me know if you need further assistance!
