Subject states the issue. WiFi network has a new name, all touchscreens lead to a password request. I do not have access to the password that was used. (Installer deceased)

@Bridget_J, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand you're trying to connect your HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw to a new Wi-Fi network, but you're unable to proceed due to a password prompt, and unfortunately, the original installer is no longer available. No worries, I'll guide you through the steps to restore your printer to factory settings so you can set it up afresh.
Steps to Restore Factory Defaults (via Control Panel)
- On the printer's touchscreen, tap the Setup icon (it looks like a gear).
- Scroll down and tap Service.
- Tap Restore Defaults.
- Confirm by tapping OK.
The printer will restart automatically and reset all settings, including network configurations and passwords.
Note: This will erase all custom settings, including saved Wi-Fi credentials and admin passwords.
After Reset – Reconnect to Wi-Fi
Once the printer restarts:
- Go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Menu.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Choose your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Your printer should now be connected to the new network.

Thanks for the reply, but after Step 2 (tap Service), I'm hitting the password wall. Nothing I try gets me past that.
I even directly connected it to the new modem, uninstalled the printer on my laptop, re-located, set as default. All I can print is a Test Page.
I tried using its IP address and hit a password wall no matter what I try.
The whole stupid machine is heading for the pool pretty soon. 🙄
