Hi @DDay5,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When you change your router, your printer and devices might lose the connection to the network. To reconnect your HP printer to your new router and ensure that your iPhone can link to it, follow these steps:

1. Reconnect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi Network

Using the Printer's Control Panel:

  1. : Ensure your printer is powered on.:
    • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Network or Wireless Settings menu.:Look for Wi-Fi Setup Wizard or similar option.:
    • Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks:Enter the new Wi-Fi password and follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.

Using HP Smart App::

  • Ensure the HP Smart app is installed on your iPhone. You can download it from the App Store:
    • Open the app and ensure your iPhone is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.:Tap the + icon to add a new printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network.

2. Ensure Location Services Are Enabled on Your iPhone

  • Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
    • Ensure Location Services are turned on.
    • Scroll down to find the HP Smart app and ensure location access is set to While Using the App.

3. Reset Network Settings on the Printer (if necessary):

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Network Settings or Wireless Settings.:
    • Look for an option to Restore Network Defaults or Reset Network Settings and select it.
    • After resetting, follow the steps to reconnect the printer to the Wi-Fi network.

4. Restart Devices

  • Turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on:
    • Power off your iPhone and then power it back on.:If possible, restart your router by unplugging it, waiting for a few seconds, and plugging it back in.

5. Verify Network Settings

  • Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and make sure you are connected to the correct network:
    • Use the printer's control panel to verify it is connected to the same network.

6. Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):

  • Download the tool from the HP support site and run it.:
    • Follow the instructions to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
