Trying to scan to computer from printer. Drop down menu only shows one of my PC's and I cannot get the other to show up. i can print from this PC and scan using the HP Smart app but it doesn't show up on the printer menu.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are unable to scan to computer, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Enable scan to computer
- Search Windows for your printer model name, and click the printer name in the list of results. HP Printer Assistant opens.
- Click Scanner Actions, and then click Manage Scan to Computer.
- Click Enable to activate the scan to computer option.

My issue is that my pc is not listed on the drop down menu if I try to scan to computer from the printer. If i open the HP Smart app on my windows10 pc I am able to scan to my pc from the pc. The HP Smart app shows my printer is online and it can detect it. But for some reason the printer is not detecting the PC.

Once you enable Scan to Computer, the computer name should show up in the printer menu.
