Recently we have been having a network issue with our new HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer. Basically when we go to print a document, PDF, MS Word, etc. in the Print Dialog window it shows the Printer is Offline. Similarly, if I go under Windows Settings -> Printers & Scanners, there too the Printer is shown as Offline. No matter what we do, we cannot get that Status to change, and hence are unable to print to that printer. Rebooting both printer and laptop does not change the status.
Oddly enough if I run HP Smart app, the status for the printer there shows that Printer is idle and Ready to print.
Additionally, the printer is apparently fine and not the issue as we can print documents for other devices, mobile phones, other computers not running Windows 11 without any issues.
After doing some additional research and reading in various support help areas, I found the possible problem and solution. It appears that there is some sort of conflict between HP Smart and Windows 11. After removing HP Smart app from my laptop, the above problem went away. Hopefully this helps out others experiencing the same problem.
