Hi @DaveH17 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro M203dw printer is not connecting to WiFi or showing up in the Mac system's printer dialog, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and in a ready state.
  • Verify that the WiFi indicator on the printer is solid or blinking, indicating an active WiFi connection.

Restart Printer and Mac:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Restart your Mac.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP support website and check for any firmware updates for your printer model. If available, download and install the latest firmware.

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the Setup menu.
  • Select "Network" or "Wireless" settings.
  • Choose the option to reset network settings.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the network settings.

Reconfigure WiFi Settings:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the Setup menu.
  • Select "Network" or "Wireless" settings.
  • Choose the option to configure the wireless settings.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your WiFi credentials.

Verify WiFi Network:

  • Make sure that your Mac is connected to the same WiFi network to which you want to connect the printer.

Add Printer Manually:

  • Open the "System Preferences" on your Mac.
  • Go to "Printers & Scanners."
  • Click the "+" button to add a printer.
  • If your printer is still not detected, click the "IP" tab and enter the printer's IP address.

Install Latest Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your Mac. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.

Firewall/Antivirus Settings:

  • Check if any firewall or antivirus software is blocking the communication between your Mac and the printer. Temporarily disable these settings to test the connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
