To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please follow the steps provided below to connect the printer to the network?

Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer
 

Wi-Fi setup mode allows your printer to accept a new Wi-Fi connection from the HP app. When Wi-Fi setup mode is active, the Wireless icon or Wireless light on the control panel blinks until a connection is made or two hours pass.
 

  • Most printers without a touchscreen display or menu: Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons for five seconds or until the Wireless light or icon blinks. If the Wireless light or icon does not blink, go to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer for instructions that work with your model of HP printer.

Install the HP app

  • Use the HP app to set up the printer on the Wi-Fi network and with your computer or mobile device.
  • Open the HP app, and then create an account or sign in. If you do not have the app, download it from 123.hp.com or your app store.
  • Within 2 hours of restoring Wi-Fi setup mode, follow the guided steps in the HP app to add the printer and set up the wireless connection.
