Hi @Neil822,

To connect your HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer to a Wi-Fi network using a Windows 10 computer, follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

  1. Network Name (SSID): Ensure you know your network's SSID (name) and password (WPA or WPA2 security passphrase).
  2. Connect Computer to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Windows 10 computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect.

Step 2: Install HP Software

  1. Download HP Smart App: Visit the HP Smart App page and download the app for Windows 10.
  2. Open HP Smart App: Once installed, open the HP Smart app.

Step 3: Connect Printer to Network

  1. Turn on the Printer: Ensure your printer is powered on and not in sleep mode.
  2. Reset Wi-Fi Settings:
    • On your printer, press and hold the Wireless button (located on the back of the printer) for approximately 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking. This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.
  3. Use HP Smart App:
    • Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
    • Click on the + sign or Add Printer to start searching for your printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer setup and connection to your Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through selecting your network and entering the Wi-Fi password.

Step 4: Verify Connection

  1. Check Printer Display: Once the connection is successful, the Wi-Fi light on the printer stops blinking.
  2. Print a Test Page: Use the HP Smart app or the printer software to print a test page and confirm the printer is connected and functioning properly.
