Hi @Pooma0204,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps if you haven't already.
Restart your Devices
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart your Router: Turn off your router, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart your Computer or Mobile Device: Turn off the device you are trying to connect to the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Verify WiFi Network and Settings
- Check WiFi Network: Ensure your WiFi network is working correctly and that other devices are able to connect to it.
- Verify Network Name (SSID) and Password:
- Make sure you are using the correct network name (SSID) and password.
- Remember, both are case-sensitive.
Printer Control Panel
- Access Wireless Setup Menu:
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the wireless icon or wireless settings.
- If prompted, select the setup wizard to begin the setup process.
Manual Network Connection
- Use WPS Method (if router supports WPS):
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- On the printer, go to the Wireless Setup menu and select WPS connection.
- Use HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Follow the instructions to set up your printer and connect it to the WiFi network.
Restore Network Settings
- Restore Network Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to the Wireless or Network menu, then select Restore Network Settings or Restore Defaults.
- Try setting up the WiFi connection again.
If still not resolved, try the following:
- Update Firmware:
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. You can check updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Move Printer Closer to Router:
- Ensure the printer is within range of the WiFi signal. Move it closer to the router if necessary.
- Disconnect Any Ethernet or USB Cables:
- These connection types might interfere with the WiFi Direct connection.
