Hi @MR2688

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining. When you’ve changed your wireless network or router, your HP printer needs to be reconnected to the new network before it can print wirelessly. Here’s how to do that:

Step-by-Step: Connect Your HP Printer to a New Wireless Network

1. Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode on the Printer

This makes the printer discoverable for setup:

  • Touchscreen models: Go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Settings
  • Non-touchscreen models: Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power light blinks

More details: Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer

2. Use the HP Smart App to Reconnect

  • Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com or your device’s app store
  • Open the app and sign in or create an HP account
  • Tap Add Printer and follow the prompts to connect to your new Wi-Fi network

3. Alternative: Use Wireless Setup Wizard (Touchscreen Printers Only)

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard
  • Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password

4. Confirm Connection

  • Once connected, the wireless light should stop blinking
  • Print a Network Configuration Page to verify the connection

Let me know your printer model if you'd like tailored steps—I’ll guide you from there.
