I am trying to connect my HP Deskjet 3760 printer to a new WiFi connection after moving into a new flat. It’s a password protected network that I need to register a device to using the MAC address, which I have added my printer already. I can’t figure out how to connect to the WiFi at all. It doesn’t have a display, just some buttons. I have tried to reset the WiFi settings by holding the Cancel and Wireless buttons together at the same time as suggested, but it doesn’t flash the power button as it says it would, and nothing changes on the display. The app is useless at trying to recognise it as a new device. It is saved into my HP Smart app already as it’s not a new printer, I’ve had it for years. But in the app, it says it cannot connect to the printer using WiFi, and the colour cartridge is having problems (always had issues with this and have never been sent a new ink cartridge despite being on the ink plan) so I can’t even print using WiFi direct because of the cartridge issue!! So frustrating, I don’t understand why it needs to be this confusing to connect a printer to WiFi! I don’t have a WPS button on my WiFi either due to it being used by the whole housings, I don’t have a router. Please if anyone has any advice let me know!

Welcome to HP Support Forum. Please use the following instructions to fix:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1736500-1626554-16
Please also note: Your printer may only support 2.4GHz therefore you need to check and allow your router to broadcast both (dual) bands which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.
Regards.

Hi, I have followed the steps in the link you sent. If I press and hold both the Cancel and the Wireless connection button nothing seems to happen, the power button doesn’t flash as it states and nothing happens in the app. Therefore I don’t think the wifi settings are being reset on my printer. I also can’t change the broadcast on my wifi due to it being in built into my building I am living in, I don’t have access to the router.
I still can’t connect my printer to my new wifi
