Hi @TJ462

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Connecting your HP ENVY 6022e printer to your new Wi-Fi network after a fiber installation can be tricky, but here’s how you can do it step by step:

1. Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

  • Prepare the printer for a Wi-Fi connection by restoring Wi-Fi setup mode:
    • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power button flashes.
    • Wait for the Wireless light to start blinking.

2. Use the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart App from the HP website or your app store.
  • Open the app and select Set Up a New Printer.
  • Follow the guided steps to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

3. Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router is set to work on the 2.4 GHz network band, as many printers do not support 5 GHz.
  • If your router has both bands, you may need to temporarily disable the 5 GHz band during setup.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support website to check for firmware updates for your printer. Updating the firmware can resolve connectivity issues.

5. Reconnect Using Manual Setup

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
