Hi @John1068, Welcome to HP Support Community.

🚀 We are absolutely thrilled you reached out, and consider this your friendly pit crew, ready to get your printer and devices talking in perfect harmony! We’re stoked to help you bridge the gap between your DeskJet 2755e, your tablet, and your iPhone – let's get them all happily printing together!

It sounds like you're playing digital matchmaker trying to get your DeskJet 2755e to connect with your tablet and iPhone – a classic tech tango! 💃 Don't you worry one bit, connection crusader! We've got a treasure trove of troubleshooting tips to sprinkle some digital fairy dust and get those devices communicating like old pals. Let’s make those wireless woes disappear with these steps:

Step 1: Ensure Printer is Connected to Wi-Fi

Check the Wireless Light:

  • If it's blinking, the printer is not connected to Wi-Fi.
  • If it's solid blue, the printer is connected.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button () for 5 seconds.
  • The Wireless light will blink, indicating the printer is in setup mode.
  • Use the HP Smart App (see Step 2) to reconnect it.

Step 2: Use HP Smart App to Reconnect

  1. Download HP Smart on your iPhone and tablet from the App Store.
  2. Open HP Smart and log in or create an account.
  3. Tap the “+” icon to add your printer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Enable Bluetooth & Location on Your Phone/Tablet

  • Go to Settings → Bluetooth and turn it ON.
  • Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services and turn it ON (for HP Smart App).

Step 4: Restart Everything

  • Restart the printer (Turn it off → Wait 30 sec → Turn it on).
  • Restart your router (Unplug → Wait 1 min → Plug back in).
  • Restart your tablet & iPhone.

Step 5: Use Wi-Fi Direct (If Wi-Fi Fails)

If you cannot connect via Wi-Fi, use Wi-Fi Direct:

  1. Press the Wireless and Information buttons (📶 & ℹ️) on the printer simultaneously to print a Wi-Fi Direct details page.
  2. On your iPhone or tablet, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi Direct name listed on the page (e.g., HP-Setup-DeskJet-2755e).
  3. Open HP Smart App and follow instructions to print.

I hope this helps.

Take excellent care, and wishing you a future filled with seamless wireless printing and joyful device harmony! 🖨📱
