Connecting your HP DeskJet 3772 All-in-One Printer to Wi-Fi via an iPad is straightforward. Here's how to set it up.
Reset the Printer's Network Settings
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button together for 3 seconds.
- This resets the network settings and prepares the printer for a new connection.
Enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode
- Press the Wi-Fi button until it starts blinking.
- This indicates the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode.
Download the HP Smart App
- Open the App Store on your iPad.
- Search for and download the HP Smart app.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions.
Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- In the HP Smart app:
- Tap Set Up a New Printer.
- Select your HP DeskJet 3772 from the list of available devices.
- Follow the prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network credentials.
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi light on the printer should stop blinking and remain solid.
Print a Test Page
- Open a document or photo on your iPad.
- Tap the Share button and select Print.
- Choose your printer from the list and tap Print.
