Hi @Therubiccube,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Here's a step-by-step guide to reset the network on your HP DeskJet Plus 4130 All-in-One Printer and reconnect it using the HP Smart app after your Virgin Media Wi-Fi setup:

Step 1: Network Reset on the Printer

To erase the old Wi-Fi settings:

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the following buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds:
    • Cancel button ( or red "X")
    • Wireless button (📶 or icon with antenna)
  3. The Wi-Fi light will start blinking blue – this means it's in setup mode and ready to connect to a new network.

Step 2: Install the HP Smart App: Please uninstall the HP Smart app --> restart the Device, Wi-Fi router & Printer, --> install it back and add the Printer.

Step 3: Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi via HP Smart

  1. Open HP Smart on your phone or PC.
  2. Tap “+ Add Printer” or “Set up a new printer.”
  3. The app should detect your DeskJet Plus 4130 in setup mode (blinking blue light).
  4. Select your new Virgin Media Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password.
  5. Complete the on-screen setup steps.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
