What are all the connections to a Laserjet 1320nw printer formatter board

I have a replacement board  which doesn't have a terminal for a connection that is in the board currently installed.

On the top side, you have 4 ( control panel, laser 2 connectors, and toner) on the bottom you have 1 flat for the ECU board.

If you have connected all 5 you should be fine.

Thanks for your reply.

There are in fact six connections to the formatter card in my LJ1320.

There are four connections along one edge and two along the other edge.

I have purchased a replacement formatter card from a reputable US printer spares supplier.

The replacement formatter card has the four terminal connectors on one edge but only one connector on the other edge.

The missing terminal connection on this card is immediately next to the ethernet connection terminal close to surface connection labelled U100.

I also notice that there is a capacitor attached to connection C835 on my printer's formatter card which is absent from my replacement card.

Does this mean my replacement card will not function?

Many thanks

You probbably got ( bought) a LJ1320N formater that is different than formatter for LJ1320NW. The LJ1320N is very common printer model, but LJ1320NW not so common.

If you don't have extra cables on the printer it will work, but wireless option probbably won't.

Thank you for your reply

The wireless connection stopped working some time ago which is why I tried to replace the formatter card.

However It works fine with a ethernet connection.
