Hi @Manager480,
We may need to reset the unit to factory settings.
The reset instructions are printer specific and cannot be shared in public.

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e.
I assume that as I have setup the printer (via the HPSmart App on the PC), to be secure, the printer automatically locks the advanced functions/control panel after a set time (unclear how long).
You, like me, will be confused by this as you will remember NOT putting in a login or password.
I went around and around with HP support and HP employees but in the end found the solution on my own.
Username admin (default) and the pin (8 digit numeric) which can be found inside the front panel (where you access the print cartridges').
Once you have these details, you can change the PIN via HPSmart. In fact it was playing with HP Smart that led me to this solution - when I went into advanced features if asked me for the PIN inside the panel.
Good Luck.
