Product: HP LaserJet Pro M15a W2G50A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have an HP M15a. The HP M15w is the wireless version. I believe that the M15w and M15a share a similar main logic board, but the M15a lacks the wireless module. There are pins on the M15a board for attaching a wireless module. Also, the M15a has a different external control panel (lacks a wireless button). Does anyone know if I install a M15w wireless module on the M15a board if it will essentially convert the M15a to the M15w?

You cannot connect a wireless card to an M15a printer, it have a different formatter / main-board and a different firmware.
