I've just started to get an error raised on the printer and on my mac telling me that the printer is currently configured with a Domain Name System (DNS) server address which does not allow the DNS server name to be confirmed.
The advised solution is to power down then power up again after 30 seconds or so, alas no joy! is there a fix?

You can change the network settings at the printer display, of course, and edit the network information.
If the printer is on the network,
If the feature is supported,
Try / Consider
Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to configure your printer.
Example
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration
Change network settings
