Hello,
printer was working good. I changed the router ( internet provider has changed).
I have two HP printers. One is ok, because i can enter the wifi password directly on the printer.
The other (a 2600 series) is still not connected after the router changing.
I tried pushing the WPS button, the router does not find it, same problem from the router software, the printer does not appear, but it appears on the computers wifi menu !!! (i checked the router, 4GHz active / 5GHz active).
So i followed this process i read in many other threads :
-->On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Resume button together for three seconds. (When Wi-Fi Direct is turned on, the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the display stays on)
--->On your computer or phone go to wifi and connect it to your printer
--->Select your printer with DIRECT in the name from the list of available networks (example: DIRECT-74-HP Deskjet2600).
--->Select the Wi-Fi Direct printer signal in Wi-Fi settings
--->If prompted for a password, To find the Wi-Fi Direct name and password, press the Information button (i) to print a printer information page
Type the password on the page to connect
--->Now open a browser and type 192.168.223.1
--->you will be able to access the printer's EWS page
--->on the page, you will find network - click on it
--->go to wireless and select wireless setup wizard
--->now select the network that you want your printer to connect to and type in the password
I'm stuck here : it says, after all that (google translation, sorry) :
"These settings have been saved successfully. However, a problem occurred while testing the wireless connection. Click Back to review these settings, or OK to start setup again"
--->the printer have not solid blue light, it's not connected
I checked back, i saw nothing.
Printer was working fine two days ago, with anoter routeur.
Thanks for your help 🙂

Hi @CLAUDE42,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you are unable to connect the printer to the network .
Try the alternate method-
Connect the printer using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (printers without a touchscreen)
Use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button on your router to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.
Put the printer in WPS connection mode.
Most printers without a touchscreen control panel: Press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.
HP Deskjet 6000 and 6400, ENVY 6000 and 6400, and Tango printers: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Power button on the back of the printer for five seconds until the blue bar flashes.
Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on the router until the connection process begins.
Wait for the Wireless light or bar on the printer to stop flashing. The printer is now connected to the network.

5Ghz has been disabled, i kept only the 2.4Ghz network, but it still does not connect, the pairing fails each time.
It finally worked !
I did not know some printers would only work on 2.4ghz...
