I have a deskjet 2723, and no matter what i do, my printer can’t connect to the wifi. The wifi button light just kept on blinking and I’ve tried to reset the router, the printer and gone through my printer settings on PC, as well as changing the wifis but none works, it still can’t connect to internet. Please help.

Hi @ImYes,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Having trouble connecting your Deskjet 2723 printer to your Wi-Fi network can be frustrating, but let's troubleshoot it step by step. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you resolve this issue.
Restart Printer and Router:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Turn off your Wi-Fi router and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
- Plug in your router and turn it on. Wait for all lights to stabilize.
- Plug in your printer and turn it on.
Reset Network Settings on Printer:
- On your printer's control panel, locate the wireless button.
- Press and hold the wireless button for at least 3 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking, then release the button.
- Once the wireless light stops blinking, the wireless settings have been reset. Try reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi Setup:
- On your computer, make sure you're connected to the Wi-Fi network you want your printer to connect to.
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
- Select your printer from the list of available printers.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.
Ensure Correct Network Credentials:
- Make sure you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted during the setup process.
- Check for any typos or special characters in your Wi-Fi password.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP website.
- If updates are available, follow the instructions provided to update the printer firmware.
Move Closer to Router:
- Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. If the signal is weak, it may have trouble connecting.
Check Router Settings:
- Ensure that your router is broadcasting its SSID and is not set to hidden.
- Check if any security features on your router (such as MAC address filtering or firewall settings) might be blocking the printer from connecting.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with connecting your Deskjet 2723 printer to your Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
