Deskjet 2755 will not connect to wifi. I have verified that the password is correct. I have tried restarting the printer, router, and **bleep** near every other device in the house. I have moved the printer closer to the router. Nothing seems to be working.

@BumbleF, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet not connecting to the router!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like you've already done a lot of troubleshooting! Here are a few more things you can try to get your HP DeskJet 2755 connected to Wi-Fi:
1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
Since you've already restarted everything, try resetting the printer’s network settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for about 5 seconds until the power light blinks.
- This will restore default network settings.
2. Reconnect Using HP Smart App
- Download and open the HP Smart App (if you haven’t already).
- Make sure your computer or phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (this printer does not support 5GHz).
- Use the app to reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi.
3. Check Router Settings
- Ensure MAC address filtering is not blocking the printer.
- If your router has dual-band Wi-Fi, temporarily disable 5GHz and try connecting only to 2.4GHz.
4. Manually Connect Using WPS
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the light starts blinking.
- Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes to establish a connection.
5. Assign a Static IP
- On your PC, open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 (or your router’s gateway).
- Find the connected devices list and note the printer’s IP address.
- Enter the IP in a browser → Open the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) → Set a Static IP for a more stable connection.
If none of these steps work, try setting up the printer using USB first, then reconnect it to Wi-Fi. Let me know if you need further help! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
