Deskjet 3760

Hello

I purchased the deskjet 3760 2 days ago and no matter what I do it will not connect to WiFi

Every other device in my home is connected to WiFi no problem. I have Installed the HP smart app and when I try to add a new printer it won't find it but when I put WiFi direct on my phone and press the WiFi direct button on the printer it prints. But I am unable to claim my free ink or set up an ink plan as it says I aren't connected to WiFi! Can anybody help please? Hp support on twitter are Silent! Thanks

@ThomasN1, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to connect the printer to the wireless network.

For assistance with first-time setup, click here

Use the WPS method to connect the printer

Refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
