I am printing to deskjet printer  but nothing  comes out. It is online  and Wi-Fi light is on blue. I can sent a printer test page to it but nothing else. It’s not showing as sent to queue on hp smart either. I have reset everything and turned everything off. I was printing and it took a black page through part way then just stopped.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait for a minute, then turn them back on.

Recheck Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • Blue light should be steady, indicating a good connection.

Verify Printer Status:

  • Check the printer status in the HP Smart app. Ensure it shows "Ready" or "Online."

Clear Print Queue:

  • On your computer, go to the printer settings and clear any stuck print jobs in the queue.
  • In the HP Smart app, ensure there are no pending jobs.

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows or HP Diagnostics Tool for macOS to identify and fix potential issues.
  • Download and run the tool from the HP Support website.

Reinstall Printer Driver:

  • Uninstall the printer driver from your computer.
  • Download and reinstall the latest driver from the HP website.

Reset Printer:

  • Restore the printer to its default settings. Check the printer manual for instructions or visit HP Support for guidance.

Check Wireless Signal:

  • Ensure the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router and there are no obstructions.
