@Nunzio21160, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

Yes, the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer does support WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access 2) security mode. This is the recommended and most secure wireless encryption method for connecting your printer to a Wi-Fi network.

Steps to Connect Your HP 8600 Plus to a WPA2 Network:

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
  2. Select Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. The printer will search for available wireless networks.
  4. Select your WPA2-secured Wi-Fi network from the list.
  5. Enter your Wi-Fi password (case-sensitive).
  6. Once connected, the wireless light on the printer should turn solid blue.

If your network is hidden, you can manually enter the SSID and select WPA2 as the security type during setup.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
