ENVY 6000
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hi everyone, I've moved in to a new flat and using a different WIFI now however, I can't connect my ENVY 6000 printer to the new wifi at all. I tried HP smart app to do it, it's saying offline and not appearing when I search as a new set up either.

@almoner, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to connect the printer to the new network. Follow the steps mentioned in this document - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
  • This printer supports WPA encryption. Check if the router supports the same.
  • Also, the printer cannot be connected to a guest/university network. It has to be a personal router.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
