I changed my wifi set up from a router with a separate network from that given by the provider to the internet provided from provider. My laserjet will not accept the passcode (why didn't HP use "password" since "passcode or network key" sent me down a rabbit hole)
- ISP is Spectrum
- Anyway, router settings have default WPA2-PSK settings. I am trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz network. Other things (lights, computer, tablets, cell phones) have connected to the 2.4 GHz network.
- Router Firewall is enabled.
I have:
- deleted the printer,
- reset the printer,
- reinstalled software (stopping at the point the installation software tells me that it could not associate with wireless network),
- tried pressing the WPS button on my router and using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
- I have tried using the Wireless Setup Wizard from the touchscreen on the printer. I get the error: "Invalid WPA passphrase."
- I have tried changing SSID and password. Same problem.
I appreciate any further suggestions.

We could try a reset the printer and then try connecting to the network.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
