Hi @Helen0102, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy 6000e printer has a solid blue light but won't print and shows an error message, try these steps:

Check the Error Message

  • If there is a specific error message on the printer display or HP Smart app, let me know so I can provide more precise troubleshooting.

Restart Everything

  • Power cycle the printer: Turn it off, unplug it for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your router: Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Restart your computer or phone.

Check Printer Connection

  • A solid blue light means the printer is connected to Wi-Fi, but it might not be communicating correctly.
  • Try reconnecting it:
    1. Reset Wi-Fi settings: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (🛜) and Cancel button (✖️) for 5 seconds until the light blinks.
    2. Use the HP Smart App to set up the printer again.

Clear Print Queue

  • On Windows:
    1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click the HP Envy 6000e, select See what's printing, and cancel all jobs.
  • On Mac:
    1. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
    2. Select the printer, click Open Print Queue, and clear jobs.

Reinstall the Printer Driver

  • Download and install the latest drivers from HP Support.

Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (🛜) and Power button for 10+ seconds until the printer resets.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
