This is my second HP printer in the last year that always stops printing and can't be found on my network when I search. Both worked great for a couple months now, nothing but troubles. Trying to find any answer on HP's confusing support pages is useless. When the printer started, the Print and Scan Doctor would report no printers on my home wifi network. I'd go through the steps and after a couple tries it would suddenly find it and I could print again. Now, the program continues to lose the printer but, when I open the Settings and, surprise, the Printer section shows the printer and states that it's on and ready. I go back to print my page, it again says it can't print since there is no printer. I've tried downloading updated drivers but the link is grayed out so I guess the drivers are up to date. I've tried reinstalling the printer software which let me find the printer but only for one time and then, poof, it's gone again. I've tried placing my laptop directly beside the printer and it was still lost. I even tried the Win10 troubleshooter but that just kept kicking me back to the previous pages. I have no idea what to do next. HP was great until it bought Compaq. I've always used HP printers but, now, having two printers give up in about a year is sad.

I understand that you are getting printer connectivity issues, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Are you getting any error messages?
Meanwhile:-
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to fix connectivity and printing issues.
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
-
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
-
If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.
-
If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
-
If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.
-
If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.
-
Try to print.
Let me know how it goes.
