@Mill9,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off your printer.
  • Unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 1-2 minutes, then plug the printer back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and see if the error clears.

2. Check for Ink Cartridge Issues

  • Open the printer's cartridge access door.
  • Remove the ink cartridges carefully.
  • Inspect the cartridges for any damage or misalignment.
  • Reinsert the cartridges properly and make sure they are securely in place.

3. Check the Printhead

  • If you can, remove the printhead and clean it gently with a soft cloth.
  • Make sure there is no ink buildup or dust blocking the printhead nozzles.
  • Reinstall the printhead and cartridges properly.

4. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open all compartments and paper trays.
  • Look carefully for any paper jam or pieces of paper that may be stuck in the printer.
  • Clear any paper or debris found inside.

5. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings

If the steps above don't work, try resetting the printer to its default settings:

  • Go to the printer's control panel.
  • Select Setup or Settings.
  • Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Restore Defaults (depending on the model).
  • Select Restore to Factory Defaults and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Sometimes, the error could be related to outdated or corrupt printer drivers.
  • Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your HP Envy model.
  • Install the updated drivers and check if the error persists.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
