Hi @Simmie0218,
This message usually comes from the HP Smart app when the printer's account/cloud setup wasn't completed or the printer lost its connection.
- Restart the printer and the router, and make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device.
- Open HP Smart, sign in with the same HP account, select the printer and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
- If it stays stuck, remove the printer from HP Smart, add it again with + Add Printer, and finish all the steps.
- Make sure the printer firmware is up to date (from the printer menu or HP Smart > Printer Settings).
If the message continues, please share your printer model and we'll keep helping.
