macOS 10.15 Catalina

My printer ethernet port lights only go on during the self test on startup. After that, no lights and no connection for my wired connection.

Tried setting IPV6 to OFF and Link Speed to 100TX Full setting -no help

Really peeved that I can't find a solution.

The printer works on wireless conneection.

How to fix this lack of connection detection?

Hello,

 

Hope you are well, according to the issue description it seems to be related to the physical port, the only test I can recommend to check on the port integrity is to use the a different ethernet cable, or known working cable, and connect the printer and a computer, that would generate a bridge connection and the printer should get a default IP address , if you connect it and no lights and no IP address the printer port could probably be physically damaged.
