This is an HP DeskJet 2700e
The printer shows online and my phone is connecting to the printer but when go to the app, choose the document, and go to select print, it will not let me print anything. My ink levels are about half full, wifi connected on both the printer and my phone. I’m not sure what to do.

Hi @Hailey38 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've covered the basics already, so let's troubleshoot further. Here are some steps you can take:
- Restart Everything: Sometimes a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off both your printer and your phone, then turn them back on and try printing again.
- Check Printer Queue: There might be a document stuck in the print queue that's causing the issue. Go to your printer settings on your phone and check if there are any pending documents. If so, try canceling them and then attempt to print again.
- Update Printer Firmware and App: Ensure that both your printer's firmware and the HP Smart app on your phone are up to date. Sometimes outdated software can cause compatibility issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Reconnect Printer: Try removing the printer from your phone's list of connected devices and reconnecting it. This can sometimes refresh the connection and resolve the issue.
- Check for Error Messages: If there are any error messages displayed on the printer or the app, take note of them as they can provide clues as to what might be causing the problem.
- Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting your printer to its factory settings. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
